The day we visited Jhargram as we said that it was little bit cloudy. At 12pm it was started raining little bit so we planned to took our lunch early. So we visited Kachalanka Hotel & Restaurant.
As we know about the place from google search so we want to try the food. There we took Vej thali & had a great experience, yeah food is little bit overpriced. Google Maps location Is given at the bottom.
Ghagra Waterfalls Spot
After lunch we were heading towards the Ghagra waterfalls. The entry point of the waterfalls is too much muddy because of rain. We parked our bikes beside the waterfalls (There is no parking spot). We saw there many villagers were taking their bath .
The waterfalls contains many hole like picher/Kalshi. The Ghagra Name came from local word “Gagra” which means pitcher. Actually the water flows in many direction then the curvy waterlines makes many round curves, the curves were becoming too much deep & become like pitcher. Genuinely the experience was average to visit the place but the shapes of the stones made something cherish to our average experience. One thing to note that the stones are too much slippery. The sound of water is too much relaxing.
There are many more sights to visit near Ghagra waterfalls – Chilkigarh Rajbari, Kanak durga mandir, Jhargram Raj palace.
